Worship

“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.”

– Col 3: 14-15

Celebration Service

Sundays at 10am in the Great Room

What does “celebration” mean?

To us, “celebration” means worship that happens in an informal style, featuring a praise team that leads the congregation in a variety of liturgies written by musicians at the Cooperative.

What is this worship experience like?

Our Celebration Worship has several features that make it distinctive:

  • Everyone worships together in the Great Room.
  • A full praise team including piano, guitar, drums, recorder and many vocalists that lead us in lively music –  our music selections can be surprisingly diverse.
  • Lay persons are an integral part of our service.
  • We have many opportunities in worship – like the opportunity for you to be anointed by another person!
  • We have a full functioning espresso bar
  • We laugh – a lot!
  • Communion is served each week.
  • Worship is about 75 minutes long.

Traditional Service

Blending Lutheran and Methodist Traditions weekly each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary

What does “Traditional Methodist” mean?

Traditional Methodist refers to a style of worship that will likely be familiar to a wide spectrum of Christians who have been a part of a Protestant congregation before.

What does “Traditional Lutheran” mean?

Traditional Lutheran refers to a style of worship in which the pastor and congregation sing the story of Christ each week in a call-and-response format.

What is this worship experience like?

Our Traditional worship has several features that make it distinctive:

  • It is in both Lutheran and Methodist styles of worship
  • This gathering is for those who prefer a small group setting with just a few participants
  • Worship focuses on the message and does not include music
  • Communion is served every week.
  • Worship is about 30 minutes long.
